Synopsis
Mokichi Asai is a widower father who lives with his three daughters in Nara. Chizuru, the eldest who has become a widow too; Ayako, the middle one, who is not interested in leaving home; and Setsuko the youngest one. Setsuko, and her friend Shoji, an attractive family lodger, instigate a romance between the shy middle sister and an older friend of his.
