Synopsis
An unabashed, wild, and mischievous satire, THE SWEET EAST accompanies Lillian, a high school student who decides to run away on her end-of-year trip on a journey along the East Coast of the United States. Throughout her journey, she encounters all sorts of colourful characters – such as white supremacists or religious extremists, who peculiarly bring us closer to discovering contemporary America.
