Sara Mansanet is an Aula de Cine lecturer of the Univeristy of Valencia and the head of the Medium-Length International Film Festival LA CABINA. Expert in film programming and production of audiovisual content such as the series VALÈNCIA DESTROY. LA HISTORIA NO CONTADA DE LA RUTA DEL BAKALAO (Podium Podcast), the documentary journalism programme FOCUS, QUÈ ENS PASSA? or the series TERRES DE CINEMA (À Punt Mèdia). She is the author of publications such as El nou cinema valencià (Revista Saó) and co-author of the studies of Los efectos de la pandemia covid-19 en el ecosistema de festivales cinematográficos de la C. Valenciana y Festimapp 2020. Informe de festivales de cine de la C. Valenciana.
With a Bachelor’s degree in History of Art from the University of Valencia, a Master’s degree in Cultural Management, and a PhD student in Communication and Cultural Industries from the Universitat Politècnica de València, she is a member of the Valencian Audiovisual Academy, the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain and a CIMA delegate in the Valencian Community and member of its board of directors sincethe end of 2022.
