Journalist and film critic. Graduated in Political Sciences, Marina Sanna is Senior Editor of the monthly magazine Rivista del Cinematografo and www.cinematografo.it website, both issued by Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo. Over the years, she has worked with press agencies and dailies in addition to publishing interviews (from Harrison Ford to Woody Allen) and contributing to the organisation and promotion of several cinema events. Marina wrote and directed a documentary about Federico Fellini (FEDERICO FELLINI A NEW YORK, 2003). She has also been part of various international and national juries like the Emmy Awards, FIPRESCI, and Venice Film Festival’s Controcampo section. Artistic director of Tertio Millennio Film Fest since 2004, Marina Sanna has been the artistic advisor of Terra Italiana – Festival del Cinema Italiano in Warsaw. She has been a member of the Venice selection committee since 2012, and since 2021, she has been part of the David di Donatello Awards Selection Committee and the Short Films Jury.
