Synopsis
In a small Basque village in 1925, a wake is being held for Inge, a young woman, while a crazy man called Joanes wanders the hills preaching the resurrection of the dead. Both the scenario and the names of the characters are reminiscent of Carl Theodor Dreyer’s masterpiece ORDET, but Kepa Sojo has in store a slightly different ending.
