The painter and filmmaker Pepe Dámaso (Agaete, Gran Canaria, 1933), convalescent of a grave illness, has decided to give his fellow countrymen the piece of art he has kept for himself for seventy years. Before getting rid of his paintings, Dámaso goes back to the landscapes and story lines of his childhood, an ensemble of identity elements around which he has built an original plastic allegory of island life.
