Synopsis
The second feature film by Star Wars creator George Lucas, was nominated to five Academy Awards and winner of two Golden Globes. It’s 1962, during the end of the summer, in a California town. Best friends Curt and Steve are about to leave town to head to college. Curt, who is seen as the promise of his class, has doubts about leaving, which are strengthened when he briefly meets an unknown girl. Curt tries to find her while getting away from a local gang. (Screening for elementary and high schools).
