Synopsis
Gloria Swenson becomes the guardian of her neighbor's son, whose family has been murdered by the mob. The boy has valuable information that the gangsters are demanding, and the two go on the run through the streets of New York. The film garnered positive reviews, and Rowlands' performance earned her her second Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.
