Cátia Rodrigues (Porto, 1995). Film programmer, critic, and philosophy teacher. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Artistic Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Nova University of Lisbon. In 2020, she graduated with a degree in Philosophy from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, and, in 2023, she completed a master’s degree in Aesthetics and Artistic Studies with the dissertation The Gesture of Showing in Abbas Kiarostami: An Analysis Based on Wittgenstein and Agamben. She works as a programmer for Curtas Vila do Conde IFF and BEAST International Film Festival and has been curating the Mostra de Primeiras Curtas at Livraria Térmita (Porto) since 2021. Additionally, she is a member of the editorial board of La Furia Umana, a journal dedicated to cinema theory and history.
