Synopsis
Through an introspective narrative and part of Woody Allen's Bergman-esque period, the film introduces us to a philosophy professor who, after accidentally overhearing a stranger's confessions, begins a process of self-exploration. As her daily life unfolds, the echoes of those words lead her to confront her own life and the decisions that have defined it. A psychological drama with the monumental Rowlands and Hackman in the lead roles.
