Colombian filmmaker Luis Ospina, accompanied by the director of the festival, Luis Miranda, will introduce on Sunday, April 8, at 7:30 pm at the Monopol Screen 5, his documentary Todo por el fin. Ospina revives, in this 2005 title of 208 minutes, the memory of Colombia in the 70s and 80s through a portrait/self-portrait of the Cali Group -also known as Caliwood- a group of filmmakers, artists and writers who managed to produced an already fundamental period in Colombian cinema history during one of the toughest historical moments for the country, when drugs and alcohol, as well as guerilla and narcoviolence, were out in the open at ease.

Ospina, a member of the 18th Festival’s official jury, is in the city thanks to the collaboration of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) [Spanish Cultural Action] through its Programa para la Internacionalización de la Cultura Española (PICE) [Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture] in the Visitors category.
