Synopsis
During the demonstrations and rallies following the incarceration of activist Huey P. Newton, the Black Panthers gather to protest and demand his release. Agnès Varda documents the chants, speeches and expressions of black pride that merge with an interview with Newton himself and a narration that comments on the emerging political party.
