Since 2008, Olivia Cooper-Hadjian has taken part in the organisation and curation of several film festivals in France, including the Festival des cinémas différents de Paris and the États généraux du film documentaire in Lussas. She has been part of the selection committee of Cinéma du réel since 2014 and Manager of Programming for the Competitions since 2017. In 2020, she was one of the guest curators of the first edition of the Villa Medici Film Festival in Rome. She also programmes essay films for the creative documentary platform Tënk. As a film critic, she contributed to the online journal Critikat between 2011 and 2020. Since 2020, she has been writing for Cahiers du cinéma and is a member of its editorial board. She has also worked as a translator of essays and films from English to French.
